This Easter season is definitely different than what we’re used to. We likely won’t have people gathering in our church buildings. We won’t have community outreach events. And, we won’t have big productions or worship services.
It will be a quiet one as far as the church building is concerned. But we won’t allow the current pandemic to outshine what Jesus has done for us.
As His children, we can still let out a holy roar in worship of our risen Savior. We can still celebrate and shine through the noise. We can still declare His resurrection all throughout the world.
Together, even while separate in our homes, we will celebrate Jesus. Because the fact remains: Jesus is King.
That won’t change. Not during a pandemic. Not ever.
Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone. He’s the Good Shepherd, the King of kings, and the Lamb of God. He is Immanuel, Redeemer, and Risen Lord. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the Victorious One.
Remember who Jesus is—especially in this season. Remember that He is still working.
Help kids and families celebrate our King—who is still King—even in the middle of the mess. To help you do this, we’ve compiled our free Easter-related resources so you have a place to start in making this Easter one for the books!
