How do we point children to Jesus as they define who they are? How can we point them to Jesus amid traumas?
Throughout biblical history, God has called us to go after the least, the lost, the defenseless. He built a kingdom on leaving the ninety-nine and finding the one who has been separated. Jesus has always called children to Himself and longs to strengthen and comfort them amid their battles. We can lead our children to grow strong hearts in Him, teaching them to call out for Him who is always present.
For the children who struggle with overwhelming and hard feelings about their story, let’s help them to understand no matter how attacked their hearts might feel, or how loud the voices are, God is more. He’s more big, more strong, more present, more powerful.
