Laura Richie

Laura Richie is a wife, homeschooling mom to three young kids, and a registered nurse. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University. She later earned her certificate in Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. She grew up in church (and was a missionary kid for several years), but she didn’t truly understand her need to be rescued until her mid-20’s. For years, Laura had been striving unceasingly to be “good enough” for God and for others. When she finally confronted the terrifying truth that she could never be good enough, her striving ceased and her dancing began! Now many of her days are spent delighting in the beauty and grace of her Rescuer. Laura initially wrote The Advent Storybook for her own children and then felt God prompting her to share the truth of His rescue with others as well.
