Matt Rucker

Matt is a nobody who wants to tell everybody about Somebody. He’s a big kid at heart, who loves to have fun and live the abundant life Jesus has called Him to (Jn. 10:10)! He graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor of arts in marketing. He received his master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He began his full-time ministry with Grace Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, in March of 2008 and joined the Prestonwood Baptist Church in January 2015. Matt has served as a Student Minister, College Minister, and currently as the Preteen Minister where he has the privilege to help 9-12-year old’s take ownership of their faith and partner with parents to disciple their family. Matt and his wife, Kristin, live in Carrollton and have 3 kids: Ruthie, Caleb, and one on the way!
